About Us:

Bethesda Bungalows is an award-winning custom home builder and home improvement contractor specializing in high performance, energy efficient bungalows, Arts & Crafts and Prairie-style homes. We focus on the Bethesda/Chevy Chase/Kensington area and the District, but will gladly consider projects of different styles and locations. We are licensed to build in Montgomery County and the District.

Our mission is to build unique and beautiful homes of the highest quality, using the latest building materials and techniques, in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We are experienced in building homes of all sizes, from small bungalows to our larger Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Prairie homes.

Our Home Improvement Division works on all types of projects, including additions, kitthen & bath remodels, and whole-house renovations.

Working with local Architects

Bethesda Bungalows will be happy to work with your architect or your set of stock plans. We have completed several projects with local design firms and we are currently working with Rill Architects for our LEED project in Kensington, and Bruce Hutchinson on a colonial in Bethesda.
