A Unique Opportunity

Our friend and business associate, Kay Beane, has come to Bethesda Bungalows with a unique opportunity. She owns a beautiful original bungalow (see photos below) on Greentree Road in Bethesda. The original lot was over 27,000 square feet, so Kay had the lot subdivided so that the home now sits on the line between the properties.

When Christian was here last month, we took him by the home, with the intent that he was going to design a pair of Just Right Sized homes for the two lots. His immediate reaction was that we should pick up and move the original bungalow over to the lot on the right, and renovate it. Then we would build a single new Just Right Sized home for the remaining lot, and put both homes on the market.

Regarding moving the existing home, Chistian said, "It's a fairly simple process and it's just the right thing to do."

I thought I would inquire about this property on Greentree that you are proposing to split into two homes. Do you have an idea of the cost (final selling price), a rough square footage of the house and length of the project?
