Ducts In, Geothermal Units Set

The Incredibly Green Home has taken a major step toward close-in. The good ol' boys from ARS HVAC of Laurel have completed installing the HVAC ductwork and have got the WaterFurnace Geothermal Units installed.
Both items were more challenging than we had expected. The ductwork was tough because of the truss and floor layout, and the fact that all seams had to be sealed airtight with mastic. The second floor WaterFurnace unit had to be set up inside the attic space, and it required a rework of the roof trusses. Luckily, there is a good set of pull-down attic stairs for servicing and filter changes.
